"Now let's see if I got this straight, Felicity!"
"We ice Savannah ...
And the Warden arranges for us to walk out of here!
Is that it?"
"That's about the gist of it, Candle!
Yes!"
"Okay! I've got just one question ...
Why?"
"I can answer that with one word ... Drugs!"
"You're shittin' me!
Do you mean to tell me that our own Mr Law & Order Warden is into pharmaceuticals?"
"Big time!
He's got one hell of an operation going here!
And I don't need to tell you who's crew has been cutting in on his terrirory lately, do I?
"Wow! I kind of thought that Savannah had entrepreneurial skills!
Didn't you?"
"Right now the Warden has Savannah right where he can get at her!"
"So she's out of action!
Why's he need to have her killed?
She can't do him much in the way of damage in here can she?
"Maybe not ...
But a slap on the wrist ...
And she'll be out of here in no time!"
Yeah ... I see your point!"
"So are you game for a little action?
"Count on it!
You bet I am!"
I just wish I had my trusty sawed-off shotgun handy!"
I'd put a charge into Savannah just like I did that chic on the last contract I had!
"That was the one who put you back here on the inside ...
Wasn't it, Candle!"
"Yeah ... But ...
It was beautiful!
So well done an' all!"
"You're a credit to your profession, Candle!"
"I should be!
I'm a specialist after all!"
"Yes ... Well we're going to have to specialize in something a bit quieter than a shotgun this time Candle!"
"Just as long as you don't want me to strangle her, Felicity!
You know how I just can't stand asphyxiation!"
Okay then ... How about we do it with knives?"
"A knife! Wow!
How did you get your hannds on a blade, Felicity?"
"This job is for the Warden, Candle!
Or did you forget?"
"Oh! Yeah! Of course!
The Warden can get his hands on anything!"
"Including your sweet little neck!
Now curb your enthusiasm and let's work out how and when we're going to do this!"
"Word has it that Savannah has hit the shower!
What do say that we join her?
Are we ready?"
"You bet we are!
Let's go!"
Their timing couldn't have been more prefect ...
Because as it happened at the moment ...
Savannah was alone in the shower ...
She was not to remain undisturbed for very long ...
Because though they came quietly enough ...
There was no way she could miss seeing the two women who were about to join her ...
"C'mon in, girls!
The water's fine!"
What Savannah failed to notice at first ...
Was that each of her visitors was carefully keeping a knife hidden behind her back!
"My, Savannah!
But you are looking especially fine this evening!"
"Huh? What are you two up two?"
"Oh ... I'd say about five foot four inches or so ...
What do you think, Felicity?"
"I think that it's high time we got about to the business at hand, Candle!"
"Which of us gets to do the honors, Felicity?"
"Well now, Candle ...
I think it might be best were we both to have a hand in it!
"Then you go first, Felicity ...
I know how much you'll enjoy stabbing her in the chest!"
"Why ... Thank you, Candle!
I don't mind if I do!"
Felicity pulled her knife from Savannah's bosom ...
And Candle promptly thrust her own knife into their victim's belly ...
How's this for the Old One-Two, Felicity?"
"That's the way, Candle!
Work it in good!
Twist it if you can!
Rock the blade at the very least!"
Candle pulled her knife free and Savannah slipped to the floor ...
At this point the dying woman didn't know which of her wounds to clutch ...
But apparently her firn guts hurt her more than did the fractured sternum ...
"Boy! But she's strong, isn't she?"
"Savannah's about as tough as they come, Candle!"
"Uh-oh! Felicity! We've got company!"
"I suppose it was bound to happen, Candle!"
"Omigod! Savannah! What have you women done to her?!"
Quite unmindful of the pair of killers standing in front of her,
the new arrival bent to attend to Savannah ...
And when she did, Candle promptly stabbed her in the back ...
"There! That oughta settle her hash!
Shouldn't it, Felicity?"
"Almost ... But not quite!
Roll her over and let me have a crack at her!"
There! Now that's more like it!
What were you saying earlier about the Old One-Two?"
"You think that maybe we oughta stab her again, Felicity?
What if she is as tough as Savannah was?
We can't afford to hang around here much longer!"
"Now don't go working yourself up into a rash, Candle!
See? She's all but done for already!"
"Our work here is done!
Now what do you say we get out of here?"
"This place is starting to give me the creeps!"
"Goose bumps would look good on you, Candle!
But don't you worry your pretty little head ...
It isn't the dead who are inclined to give us trouble!"
"Yes ... This is the Warden speaking ...
How may I help you?
What was that you said?!
Stabbed in the shower?!
And - er - Are they dead?
Okay! I'll be right down!"
"And you say they were killed not more than a half hour ago?
No ... I have no idea who may have done this ...
Do you?
Savannah undoubtedly had her fair share of enemies ...
You'll clean up here?
Good!
I have to get back to my office and make the neccessary arrangements ..."
So! Felicity was as good as her word!
I'll call for a van to transfer her and the others to a high-security prison ...
And then those women are on their own!
I'm glad to have that much out of the way without a hitch ...
But why - oh why did all this have to come on my bowling night?!
It was now several days later and the Warden had sequestered RyAnn in his office for a brief conference ...
"You have a key to the handcuffs ...
Now then ... The van ...
The driver is not in on the escape plan so your girls will have to deal with her ...
But I am sure that you ladies can take care of that on a contingency basis!
You are to rendezvous at the Club ...
Money and firearms will be waiting for you there ...
After that, you are free to scatter to the four winds ...
Now then ...
Are we quite clear on everything?"
And to all of this RyAnn did no more than nod her head occasionally.
"Okay you guys!
You all know the drill as well I do!
We're all headed for a maximum security installation!"
"Now I neither need nor expect to have any trouble from any of you!"
"So let's load up, sit back and enjoy the ride!"
"You're sure you're gonna be all right, Wednesday?
Ordinarily someone would be riding shotgun with you!
The only reason they're leaving you alone with this bunch is that we're so all-fired short handed!"
"That's cool, Dick!
These pussy cats won't give me any trouble!
This trip will go smooth as grease!"
And so the prison transporter hit the road ... Bound for upstate Oregon ... With its load of precious cargo!
And it seemed as though the van had hardly done more than clear the prison driveway before the Warden was on the telephone ...
"Ah ... Yes, Sheriff!
The van has just left!
I would expect that by some time tomorrow you can in all probability head them off at that old cabin over on the River Road!
The Club! Yes!
I wanted to alert you before their gang has time to disburse!
Yes! By all means!
Yes! As you say!
All of them!
With Extreme Prejudice!"
It was an hour or so later and so far the trip had been uneventful ...
The driver was gigging merrily along ...
Totally engrossed in the tunes playing on her earphones ...
Totally oblivious to what was about to transpire on the seats behind her ...
"Are you about ready to make your move, RyAnn?
We're almost to the cut-off we gotta take to the Club!"
RyAnn produced a key to the handcuffs and it was quietly passed around ...
"I can handle the driver if you just keep her hand away from that gun!"
"Easy! Dammit! Don't tip us over!"
"Hang on to her!
Don't let go!"
"Easy now, RyAnn!
As you can see ...
I've got this here situation well in hand!"
"There now!
Didn't I tell you I could do it?"
"She won't be needing this gun in a hurry ...
But I might!"
"Whew! What a struggle that was getting her into the back seat!"
"Yes ... But we needed her uniform!"
"What on earth is she up to now?"
"Don't ask me!"
"We gotta have a driver who looks like a cop!"
"There!
Now ... You see?
Buckle up!
We're ready to go!"
"Does this kid have a license?"
"Is she even old enough to drive?"
"And what's more important ...
Does she have any idea where she's going?"
"Fellow Ex-Cons ... We have arrived!"
"This place sure doesn't look like much, does it?"
"It looks a helluva lot better to me than back where we just came from!"
"You can say that again!
C'mon! Let's have a look inside!"
"RyAnn wants to be back on the inside?
Didn't we just come from there?"
"Enough of the wise cracks already!"
"Yeah! Let's have less humor and more jokes!"
"First ... I would like to propose a toast to our new-found freedom!
Woof! This stuff's terrible! But delicious!"
"I don't know about you guys ...
But I can't wait to get out of this jump-suit!"
"Well go right ahead and be my guest!
No one here is gonna tell you to keep your shirt on!"
"Lordy! But it's been a while since we've had a chance to put these things on!
Hasn't it, RyAnn?"
"It sure has, Felicity!
Feels good, doesn't it?"
"We're passing the guns out, Felicity!
Here! Take another one! We've got plenty of them!"
"Well provided for, are we?
Well, Candle! I hope we've got plenty of ammunition as well!
I have an uneasy feeling that we may need it!"
"Should we make the split now or later?"
"Now's as good a time as any in my book!"
"I like the feel of this stuff! Don't you?"
"One last toast to a new life for all of us!"
"Yes! Indeed! And then we better figure on making tracks on out of here!"
But even as the girls were in the midst of their celebration, several members of the prison's police for were moving into position!
The preist? What was he dpoing here?
I guess that he wanted to be on hand should anyone require the Last Rites ...
"I thought I saw something move out there in the bushes , Felicity!"
"You did, Candle!
I saw it too!
My God!
It's the cops!
Who could have tipped them off?!"
"Look! There's one of them out behind that tree!"
"That's a might long shot for a hand gun, isn't it Felicity?"
"That's no hand gun she got, Candle! Duck!"
"She's moving in!
Maybe I can make the shot!"
"Keep your head down! Dammit!
She's still firing!"
"I got her, Felicity! I got her!"
"I see you did!
And not a bad shot at all!
You got her right between her boobs from what I can see from here!"
"Doesn't she remind you of somebody, Felicity?"
"I don't know ... Who?"
"Our driver ... From the prison!"
"From the size of her I'd say that you could be right!
But quit gawking at her and keep your head down!
She wasn't the only one of 'em out there, you know!"
With the death of one of their number, the police began to move in to begin firing in earnest ...
Standing to Felicity's right, Ada fired several rounds out the open door ...
"Damnation! I missed him!"
"Get down, Ada!
You make too good a target standing there like that!"
No sooner had the words left Felicity's mouth when the first of several slugs struck Ada in the chest!
Desperately clutching her chest, Ada wobbled ...
"Ada! No! I told you to get down!"
Ada fell back to the floor ...
Felicity backed away from the door and pulled open Ada's shirt ...
"It's bad ... Isn't it?"
"I won't lie to you sweetie ... I can't ..."
"I only wish I could!"
"Leave her alone for now, Felicity ... Ada's gone ..."
"We're gonna get them for this, Candle!"
"We'll get them for Ada's sake!"
"Yes, Felicity! We will!"
We'll try anyway!
"I'm real fast, Felicity!
If you cover me while I make a run for it ...
I can draw their fire so you and Candle can get away!"
"Sounds like a plan t'me, Red!
Go for it!"
And 'go for it' she did ...
There's no telling at this point whether Felicity knew or even suspected that RyAnn had an agenda all her own ...
She figured that she had played her role as a loyal member of Felicity's gang long enough ...
And that now that the situation had heated up that it was time to bid then adieu!
Now what's that schmuck doing shooting at me?
Doesn't he know that the Warden and I made a deal?
He must be trying to make it look good!
So I'll aim well wide of the mark as I fire back at him!
Omigod! He's still coming after me!
I've been double-crossed!
The cops were only supposed to kill off the other girls in Felicity's gang!
Not me too!
The Warden!
Unngh!
That son of a bitch!
He's double-crossed me!
RyAnn had managed to spin around as a bullet took her on the back ...
She'd gotten off what was to be her last shot - which - sad to say - missed its mark.
The cop that fired on her now however did not miss his ...
A pair of slugs hit RyAnn both in and around her marvelous breasts ...
And RyAnn pitched back into the stream she had attempted to cross ...
Her role in this Inside Job had reached its logical conclusion.
Felicity laid down a cover fire that kept the police ducking ...
And then the two remaining women made a desperate dash for the truck.
Round after round the cops fired in their direction ...
But Candle was fortunate enough to make it to the van
where she slipped quickly into the passenger's seat ...
Leaning over, she twisted the key in the ignition and got the engine running ...
Somehow, Felicity too made it as far as the truck ...
And had she grabbed for the door
rather than to stop to exchange fire with the police
she might have made it ...
But such was not in the cards on this particular day and bullets hit the girl both in the chest and gut ...
And her gun fell to the ground where it lay all but forgotten as Felicity tried to examine her wounds ...
For their part, the cops kept up a barrage of fire even though the woman was now visibly defenseless ...
Bullets continued to tear into Felicity ...
So many that it was enough to make one wonder
how so slender a body could stand up under so much punishment.
Despite the fact that a shot hadn't been fired in their direction for the past several minutes
the police continued to blaze away in the general direction of the van ...
Candle had climbed over into the driver's seat in an effort to help her friend
when the pellets from a blast from a shotgun broke through the side window
taking Candle's life along with it.
Realizing that her only friend was lost,
Felicity cried out in both pain and sorrow ...
And then - suddenly - the shooting stopped.
It was over ...
And one of the officers stepped over to end Felicity's suffering
by putting a final slug into her heaving chest ...
"Be mighty careful when you open the door to the van, Dave!
"If she's still alive she's apt to come out shootin'!"
"I don't think she's gonna do us much harm, Pete!"
"Well ... We gotta get things picked for when the coroner gets here!"
"In that case we may as well begin right here!
"Yup! Might as well!"
"Where should we lay 'em out?
In the house, maybe?"
"Naw! Let's set 'em down over near that tree!
Might keep 'em a bit cooler that way!"
"Is this about the last of them?"
"There's one more out by the van!"
"My God! That's Wednesday! The Warden's driver!"
"There ain't hardly a mark on her!"
"Guess the cons did her in on the way here!
What should we do with her?"
"Lay 'er out with the others, I should think!
She's as dead as any of 'em!"
"Well ... That's that! What should we do now?"
"We stand here and guard them while we wait for the coronor to arrive ..."
"Unless of course you have a sudden urge to start cleaning up the trash laying around the Club?"
"Picking up trash isn't in my description!
Thanks! But I guess I'll stay right here!"
"Who nailed Red here?"
"Wasn't me! Musta been Dan!"
"She was the Warden's fink wasn't she?"
"If you'll recall ...
Our orders were to do 'em all with extreme prejudice!
Do you remember now?"
"Yes! As it happens, I do!
But look sharp!
Here comes the Coronor now!"
"At ease, you wise guys!
Now just off-hand from the look of things ...
I'd say that you boys did quite a job here!"
"Aw, now ...
Which one of you heroes went and put a charge into poor Wednesday here?"
"It wasn't us! She hasn't been shot! Honest!"
Yes! I can see that she's been garotted ...
And I'm very much in doubt that any of you would have done that!
I was just yanking your chain a bit!
But now all seriousness aside ..."
"What's become of that police woman the Warden sent along on this gig?"
"OMIGOD! DAN!"
"Yeah ... We kind of forgot all about her!"
Candle's Audio Outakes
You mean to tell me that's it?
We're through?
As in Finished?
The video's done?
I thought that my death scene was supposed to be sexy!
You call my scene in the van sexy?
Now see here!
When I blasted Lydia, she did a fine job!
You'll all have to agree to that!
And when Felicity and I stabbed Savannah, you gotta admit that she dam-near stole the whole show!
And RyAnn knifed poor little Mallory and her throat was cut and we hung her out to dry because she couldn't remember her lines!
Then when Ada was plugged she got to writhe all over the floor of that shack over there!
And you gave RyAnn the chance to scamper across the yard so that her boobs would bounce like they were two cats fighting in a sack!
And Felicity gave you what amounted to a Club Floor Show except that she didn't have a pole to work with!
But what about me?
Here I was all set to give you my best Fay Dunaway impression ...
And you got me stuck behind the steering wheel of this danged truck!
And so the best I could do ...
Was to hang out the door of the van ...
Soaked in stage blood ...
But otherwise all covered up!
And you call that sexy?
I was supposed t'be the Grand Finale!
What a let down!
All I can say is ...
Phooey!
